Update: Just noticed that DD has it for $81 & change & that it's eligible for the current BD sale. If you buy 5 BDs & qualify for the 15% discount, you can actually get it for around $4 cheaper at DD. If you just want the Herzog set, Shout Factory deal will save $8. It is currently on backorder status at DD.

I picked up the 2 dvd boxes dirt cheap a couple years ago. Enjoyed the Kinski box (which I still have), couldn't stand the STROSZEK box.

Is there any phone number to reach customer service at this company ? I need to cancel my order and the two numbers (area code 310) I called were of no use. One number just rang continuously while the other asked to leave a message. the toll free number posted on dvdtalk is constantly busy.I emailed them a few times to three different email addresses. And the email I sent them from their 'contact us' page: https://www.shoutfactory.com/contact sends me a return error message saying they don't accept emails from Yahoo :-(

Until fairly recently, they were a budget cd manufacturer with an "ok" (not great) reputation. That's about all I know.

after 5 emails asking them to cancel the order, I get a response stating the order's already shipped. and that I should refuse the delivery for full refund. am done ordering from SF - any business that's solely dependent on inefficient and defective email implementation is best avoided.

Yeah, I frown on companies that do not have a simple "Cancel Order" button. Makes it easier for everyone: the customer, the package delivery company (since you cannot cancel the order, this package will now be in the system, creating potential for it being damaged, missing, etc., adding to further delays), and you would think it would be more efficient for the company itself.
