Kino Bluray sale

Kino has a Blu-ray (and dvd) sale on their own site and some of the prices are better than the now concluded Amazon.com sale.

A lot of the titles are at $11.98, which is cheaper than most of the Amazon prices (for the most part anyway):

Free Shipping at $50. If I were to guess, I would say this probably runs through Labor Day.

A ton of movies I have either never seen or never heard of. Any must-haves in the bunch?

(especially horror or exploitation type flicks)

If it's a good print....... The Death Kiss
I paid much less for the MGM DVD, but Tales Of Terror is great
War Gods Of The Deep is good also.

If Hell's House was still at $11.99, I would have been able to come up with $50. Oh well..........

I was so going to do this, even had my 4 picked out (I did one of the ones that was $17.97 so free shipping be a little easier)...and then saw they didn't take paypal. *sigh*. *delete cart*. I just can't afford to give my credit card information up anymore except to one or two places I trust implicitly (and I probably shouldn't). Just a warning to those out there. I really love Kino discs, I've never had a bad one, but yeah.

Diggstown is a must-own if you like either Woods or Gossett.

I'm a fan of Hero & The Terror...even though it's not full of the typical action you'd see in a Norris flick.

I have come to expect to have a compromised Visa debit card # at least yearly. I have 2 accounts; the one with a lot of money doesn't get used ANYWHERE; if i need some of the money I transfer it to the other account.

The worst I ever got hit was $1400. I got it back, but it took 2 weeks. And interestingly, it was used for Google click throughs. Google refused to do a simple refund, which cost them a charge back fee.

Re: Kino Bluray sale

I put a $72 order in on Sept. 1 and have yet to receive a confirmation email. I can't find a way to register on the Kino site. I hope they send an email when the order ships?

Nothing in my spam folder. Luckily I printed out my order info, maybe I will call them tomorrow.

Re: Kino Bluray sale

I've never seen "The Death Kiss" so cheap, so owe it to myself to place an order, but given the size of my wants list, am trying to avoid a blind buy (probably two) for the free shipping. Wish they would have made it a 150-title sale. As it runs to the end of the month, am putting my order on hold and hoping for some inspiration.

I take back my earlier claim that the order was shipped Sep 2nd. I received an email saying the order had been processed along with a Fedex tracking number link. But when I clicked on it today to check status, it says its just a label that's been created and there's no shipment yet. Their terms say they will usually ship in 3 business days after order processing. Will cut them some slack due to the holiday weekend but again, not impressed.
