It may not cost much, but I doubt that ratings are better than just the usual crap they show. Saved by the Bell totally bombed, especially in the demographic that it was targeted to. I don't see this much being any better.

With Netflix deciding to produce the upcoming sequel, Fuller House, in 2016, Lifetime may have been trying to capitalize on some of the buzz.
Can't say that I will make any effort to watch Lifetime's movie, but I'll probably watch a few episodes of the new series, considering I already pay for Netflix and used to have a little crush on Candace Cameron.

Well, regardless of what you think, they are doing this, Melrose Place and 90210. Likely many more. This is bringing in money of some kind for Lifetime otherwise they wouldn't announce three others after Saved by the Bell.

Candace Cameron is so hot, yet the girl they got to play her is so not.

I've seen every episode of Full House and a few dozen of Saved by the bell...but this was pretty bad. There was no behind the scenes drama for the show so it didn't really have much to actually say. The actress playing Becky and (older) Kimmy were atlesst attractive.

I guess made-for-tv movies about tv shows is a more watchable factor to me than the standard TV-biopics about musicians or certain actors.
Even though the SBTB movie was a lot more eventful (The only "Plot-points" for this movie was Saget's behavior and the Olsens' paychecks) I still liked this more for some reason. Good likeness on the actress that played Andrea Barber. The guy that played Dave kept on reminding me of Paul Dano's dad or uncle. It got very distracting.
I thought Mama Olsen was the hottest!

I wish they would get people that looked like the originals at least a little.
Cuolier just looked fat and stubby.
Cameron was near ugly.
Stamos was laughable and Saget looked more like Richard lewis' stand in from 1987 than Saget.

I watched a bit of this. It wasn't great but not terrible either really for a tv movie. I sort of knew what to expect of it so that's probably why I didn't completely hate it. It would have been better if the actors looked more like the people they were portraying though. The documentary after the film aired was a bit better. Basically just a fluff piece but entertaining enough.

I DVR'd this and watched it this morning. It wasn't too bad, but the issues focused in the movie were well known for years.
Back in the early 2000s, broadcast networks made movies about tv shows from the 70s and 80s. There was an unauthorized movie about Three's Company, which of course was largely about Suzanne Sommers' salary demands and issues with her co-stars. There were movies about The Brady Bunch and Partridge Family.
Lifetime is now filling the role of making movies about the BTS of TV shows. Don't be surprised if there is some Facts of Life BTS movie in 2016.

Olsens seem 3 years old in this movie when they audition/start the show. In reality they were still infants, about 9 months old or so.

Because they are hoping one of those cashes in lol. It's sad to say, but I miss the old Lifetime movies of females getting revenge. There's nothing new in any of these movies.

Because they were promoting the movie as Unathorized, they didn't have the rights to make the set look like it originally did as that would fall under copyright.
