Bud Yorkin, All in the Family producer has died at 89

Yorkin passed away Tuesday, Aug 18. Although it was Norman Lear who got most of the publicity, Yorkin was an important force, too.

He also worked on the big screen. Among others, he directed Start the Revolution Without Me and the oft-forgotten Inspector Clouseau with Alan Arkin.

He had been acting as producer on the proposed Blade Runner sequel.
