For the Scariest Single Scene thread, I re-watched a scene from The Satanic Rites of Dracula.

Here's how I remembered it: A police officer is investigating a house where he knows something is wrong. In the basement is a half-dozen kidnapped women chained to the walls. Horrified, he goes to help them, and they bare their vampire fangs and attack. He barely escapes with his life.

Here's how the movie played out: Two police detectives are distracting the owner of the house. A woman breaks into the basement and sees one woman she knows chained to the wall. She goes to help, and the woman bares her vampire fangs and tries to attack, but can't reach because of the chains. Then a bunch of packing crates open up and vampire women in ceremonial robes attack. Everyone thrashes around like Bela Lugosi fighting a rubber octopus in an Ed Wood movie. The two detectives charge downstairs and save the day.

Does anyone else have scenes which were better in your head than what was actually in the movie?

Seems more like....Scenes that aren't as you remembered them to be.
