It certainly doesn't help that I just woke up, but I saw the thread title and thought "Who the hell is Craig Bond? Did someone do an internet parody about James Bond's 3rd cousin who works in the MI6 mail room?"

Mission Impossible for me. I have liked/loved all the movies in that franchise.

I only liked the first three Bourne movies. It should have been a trilogy and ended there.

I was never a Bond fan. I never liked any of the old movies. I gave the Craig reboot a chance, and I watched the first two movies in that series and didn't care for them either.

Bourne has been pretty overrated IMO. The only MI films I've liked are the first one, some of the third (weak last act), and most of the fourth. The Craig Bond films have had two outstanding entries and one mediocre one. I'll go with Bond.

Tough call.

Craig Bond had an excellent first entry, terrible second and okay third.
Bourne had a great first entry, okay second and third, deadly dull fourth
Mission Impossible had a solid first entry, terrible second, boring third, and slightly above average fourth.

So I guess, uh, Craig Bond.

They're all mindless fluff, completely interchangeable, and wonderful.

Bond all the way on the strength of Casino Royale alone. It's by far my favorite movie amongst all of those franchises. Even if Skyfall had been as bad as Quantum of Solace, I'd choose Bond. I was always sort of lukewarm on the Bourne movies (never saw the Renner one) and M:I has its moments, but not enough that I have any real sort of attachment to the series.

I am not a fan of Craig as James Bond and the first Bourne movie is better than any of Craig's Bond films so I went with Bourne.

I went with Bourne. Casino Royale is probably my favorite movie among all the movies in each franchise, but QoS and Skyfall are a dip in quality for me; especially Skyfall. Mission Impossible, though I haven't seen Rogue Nation yet, is a ton of fun but feel a little more mindless story and plot wise and basically all about the stunts now. And even though Bourne Legacy sucks, I enjoyed the consistency and plot of the first 3 movies immensely and the intrigue of how the plot unravels.

Bond has been more thrilling/entertaining for me, but they are all good in their own respects...

Bond only because of the awesomeness of Royale and Skyfall and Craig in general. Then Bourne because all three work for me and Matt Damon makes them enjoyable M:I is a distant third because of the first two movies... blech.

The first two Bourne films and the first forty minutes of the third outclass every other film cited in this poll.

Although, I have no issues with Ultimatum. Bourne is the first franchise where I'm walking out of the theater wanting a double header, needing sequel right then and there.

The first third of Casino Royale is awesome then it screeches to a fucking halt for a 45 minute poker tournament. zzzzzz.... Horrible plot idea and the film just doesn't recover after that. Never made it further with all the glowing reviews for the two sequels.

M:I never really clicked with me. The original was pretty dull. 2 & 3 were marginally better. Four is the best of the bunch but even then it's basically 3 action pieces strung together with the thinnest of plots. It very much felt like it was made backwards; come up with what crazy action sequences would look cool first and then write a script around them.

Quantum of Solace got glowing reviews?

Re: The Craig Bond Trilogy, The Bourne Quadrilogy, or the Mission Impossible Pentalog

Even though they get fairly redundant, my vote goes for Bourne. The Jason Bourne flicks are wonderfully fun escapism. I can watch the whole trilogy back-to-back-to-back anytime. The fourth can be easily discarded from the series without losing any continuity.

The Mission: Impossible films are fun but they barely hold together as a series. Part III onward are top notch action flicks. I haven't seen Rogue Nation yet but everything I've read says it's on par with the last couple of entries.

I've never been much of a Bond fan. I suppose Craig is my favorite but none of Craig's Bond films make me want to watch them over and over like Damon's Bourne movies.

Re: The Craig Bond Trilogy, The Bourne Quadrilogy, or the Mission Impossible Pentalog

All solid choices and not sure if I could pick a flat out favourite - their are moments in each option that are the heights of action cinema while other films in that same franchise hit supreme lows. I'd probably lean towards Bourne with Mission coming a close second - if Spectre is solid it can really tip the scales.

Bourne - I LIKE the first, LOVE 2 & 3, hate 4.
Bond - I LOVE 1 & 3, hate 2.
Hunt - I LIKE the first, hate 2, LOVE 3,4,5.

Bond followed by Mission Impossible. Never seen a Bourne film.

I'd go for the Bourne Quadrilogy, primarily on the strength of the trilogywith Matt Damon. The connection of all three films are fantastically written and how the Part 2 and 3 are so intertwined is masterfully done.

Bourne +1.

P.S. it's tetralogy. Quadrilogy is a made up word from Fox when they were marketing the Alien boxset.

Love all three Bond films and enjoy the Bourne franchise but have never been able to get into MI.

Since the MI franchise has the John Woo travesty and the Craig bonds are nothing more than Bourne wannabees, Bourne wins this poll easy.

All of them have flaws, but I had to go with Bond.

I've never gotten all the Bourne love. I think they're okay films, but they're nothing I'm crazy about or can watch over and over.

I could watch them over and over, mainly because I forget major plot points due to the brisk pacing of the films.
