Does anyone know of a good alternative to half.com? I've looked and looked, but can't seem to find anything. What I'm looking for is a place that isn't such a hassel like eBay, collects money for the sellers and either lets you post your own items or has a database that is up to date. Half (no pun) the stuff you try to list isn't found in their database, so you're stuck. It sucks!
Anyway, anyone??

The stuff doesn't have to be in thier database to sell it. Just search for the title instead of the ISBN or UPC number. Example: I just added 12 Monkeys DVD to my half.com inventory. I did a search in movies for 12 Monkeys. The movie came up with a button for DVD. I clicked on that and then clicked on the "Sell Yours Now" button. I set my price, and boom; its now up for sale. Don't bother with the UPC or ISBN numbers.

Sometimes that works, but try "American Psycho", "Mission to Mars", or "Romeo Must Die"
They just seem to be getting worse and worse in listing DVD titles.

I agree some of the newer titles are not in the half.com database. Many of my dvds are listed as vhs and laserdiscs, I just add in the description that it's a dvd and so far I haven't sold one listed in the wrong category. Have you tried to sell to SPUN.COM?

DVDTalk has a new trading zone...don't know how extensive this is yet. there's always the exchange forum.
You can try:
spun.com - never used
switchhouse.com - big suck
swapit.com - suck
but half.com is still the best.

I used Half.com once and never received one of the three things I ordered. Asking Half to investigate was like talking to a brick wall. I won't order anything through them again.
I used Spun.com once and received my exact order promptly. I will prob'ly use them again.

You're from Chicago - I think Spun is in Chicago, too, if I remember right. (Or maybe a suburb?)
