Seems to be the lowest I've seen. My breaking point was just under $50, and I went for it for a total of $42.67 shipped.

Wondering if it was a price glitch. Looks like they also had the Band of Brothers/The Pacific blu Ray set for $27.90, but it's also out of stock now.

It's hard to tell if it was a price glitch.

They have Rome - complete series (1 and 2) BD (item # 12219737) for $27.26 but it is also out of stock.

Folks in the recent past have mentioned the Get Smart complete series, it is also out of stock, but only $20.53. (item #11506817 )

Maybe its' a marketing ploy. Offer just a few at a super low price and generate a lot of buzz and excitement?

Just an FYI, the Band of Brothers/The Pacific is available again. So Deadwood may also pop up as available at some point.

Overstock must have the same kind of price adjuster software that Amazon uses. I've seen about 3 or 4 different prices for this since mid-Nov.

There are two different versions of Deadwood on Blu-ray. The original set came in an elaborate book-like package. The reissue comes in standard packaging and has a lower MSRP. They are identical, other than packaging.

Took a bit longer, but I got mine in today. I also ordered the Band of Brothers/The Pacific gift set at the same time and I got that several days ago. Both came in secure packaging.

I didn't know this. Received it today and it was the non-book version. Too bad they couldn't have AT THE LEAST made this a slide out case with the seasons in them, so the blu-ray cases weren't showing out on one side. I like the cover art though and material used.

I've never seen the blu ray release in a booklike package, only the DVD set.

EDIT: Didn't find any pictures of the original box set release, but according to blu-ray.com, the initial release was in digibook form. I think I prefer the one I just got.
