Hey,

I am looking for a movie which my girlfriend saw in England when she was an aupair, couple of years ago. She describes the story about as:

A woman is on its way to work, she leaves the house, crosses the street and is killed by a car (probably by a cab, but not sure). Then, she gets a second chance, to see, how her life would have been, if she left the house only seconds later and don't get killed by the car.

My girlfriend thinks it was a blonde and famous actress, like Meg Ryan or similar.

^ That was my first thought as well but the "dies in a car crash" statement threw me off. She only misses a train in Sliding Doors.

Another possibility, while less likely, is Premonition with Sandra Bullock.
