I always have a hard time deciding which one of these two is the better movie. If you could only pick one, would it be Pee-wee or Beetlejuice?
As for now I'm leaning towards Pee-wee's Big Adventure.

I was never a huge fan of Pee-wee's Big Adventure but loved Beetlejuice. That said, I wish we could have the Pee-wee's Big Adventure / Beetlejuice Tim Burton back for a small stint.

I know most people hate the movie, but Mars Attacks! was the last time I can recall Burton seemingly having fun with a movie.

That's a tough call. I had to give Pee-wee the edge because I'm a big fan of all things Pee-wee but otherwise it was almost too close to call.

I haven't seen Beetlejuice since it was in theaters, but from what I remember I hated it. Maybe it's time to give it another chance.

Never cared for Pee Wee whether he was in his playhouse or on a big adventure. I spent way too much time watching Beetlejuice when I was a kid. It was one of those movies that played on HBO non stop in the early 90s.

My mom used to yell at me when I'd run around the house yelling "Nice fucking model!"

I love them both equally, but I'd probably go with Pee-Wee's Big Adventure just because of the sheer love letter to/lampooning of suburban and road-trip Americana.

Beetlejuice by a nose, because I haven't seen Pee-Wee's Big Adventure in like 20 years. It's been about 10 or so for Beetlejuice.

Beetlejuice was my second love behind Ghostbusters for awhile in the late 80s. I revisited it for the first time in years a couple of months ago and think I enjoyed it even more as an adult.

That, and the movie is chock full of great lines (not that Pee-Wee isn't, but Beetlejuice is infinitely quotable to me).

Anytime I see K-Mart it's always the first thing to come to mind.

She died last month of throat cancer at the age of 57 and no one seemed to notice.

Pee-Wee, all the way. It's creative and never has a dull scene. Beetlejuice is creative, but it can drag here and there.

Not a big Burton fan but I'd say Beetlejuice. I somewhat liked Pee-Wee as a kid but as I got older I just found the show and the films sort of stupid. Plus Beetlejuice has Michael Keaton who is one of my favorite actors.

Pee Wee's Big Adventure is the funniest movie ever made so yeah, Pee Wee. It wasn't just the Pee Wee persona, but the writing, Burton's direction, and Danny Elfman's score just hit on all cylinders.

Beetlejuice for me just never had the layers that PWBA did.

Pretty sure my pick is Beetlejuice, I watch it almost every year; but I've only seen Pee Wee once. Loved it, but don't remember much about it otherwise. I need to dig it out.
