Kristen Stewart Quits Acting and Bye, Felicia!

If a Kristen Stewart quits acting and nobody cares, did it really happen?

Well, yes. We guess so. In an interview with USA Today, Kristen revealed that she plans on taking a long break from acting. “I’m taking some time off because I’ve been working for two years, she said. “I’m an actor and that’s my art form, and because I started that so young, I’ve always felt intimidated and insufficient when I think about other forms of art I want to create. I’m going to buy a live-work space in downtown L.A. and I’m going to make some [stuff] with my hands. Literally, I made that decision a few weeks ago.”

OKAYYYY, WHAT? Kristen Stewart is taking time off to work with her hands? What in the world does that even mean?!

Unlike most of the interwebs, I like her so I'm a little sad.

Pretty shocking news because she always seemed like she was having a good time.

So is she going to make furniture or something now? Will we be able to buy Kristen Stewart Coffee Tables, Limited Edition?

I can't wait.

I have one of those. I call it "my garage."

Is there any reason she would make that decision figuratively?

Isn't this the same think Jennifer Lawrence is doing. She's done so much work recently, she's taking some time off soon.

Maybe Stewart has made enough money and is financially responsible enough that she can retire and live comfortably.

May I ask why? I know the Internet has a tendency to hate certain actors because it's the "cool" thing to do but I honestly can't think of any legitimate reason to like Stewart as an actor. She's not a completely wooden actor, she's has zero charisma, she's doesn't seem to have a positive attitude regarding her career, and she's never been in any movie that was particularly good. I suppose she's attractive in a handsome sort of way but hardly enough to enjoy her movies for any sort of eye candy.

I know we all made fun of Amanda Bynes "retiring" but at least Bynes had passable acting skills and came off as likable in her movies. Stewart possesses not of that.

I can't say much about her but she's a decent actress. Camp X-ray seems to have a very solid performance from her from what critics are saying. I wanted to see that one.

Do people hate on her more cuz she was in a franchise catered to females and that franchise was pretty popular?

I find it difficult to "hate" people I don't know, but in pretty much ever press appearance, Stewart seems genuinely annoyed about being a famous actor. I've seen Patterson and Lautner doing their damndest to keep things fun and she's just sucking the life out of everything.

That, and her range is extremely limited. And not in a cool way, like Jack Nicholson.

Your title is very grundle. She's taking a break, not retiring.
