Cheapest place to get 3 or 4 disc cases?

I've been working on combining various series together in one case because I'm running out of room. I could really use some 3 and 4 disc case, anyone know where the cheapest place to get them is?
Previously when I was looking around, I found the ones at shop4tech were the cheapest and ordered them. Problem is, I didn't realize what size they were: 22mm, which is like two cases wide.

Re: Cheapest place to get 3 or 4 disc cases?

I've bought cases from shop4tech many times. They're not up to the standard that many of the big studio's use for multi-disk sets (e.g. CBS), but they are good enough and cheap. Besides I couldn't find anyone that sells the ones used by the big studios.

shop4tech sells several configurations based on case width and number of disks contained. I generally get the standard case width (14mm) and 5 to 6 disk configuration from them. I think you just mistakenly selected the wrong configuration the last time. If you go back to their site i bet you will find the configuration you are looking for.

I get all my cases from him. If we are talking blu ray cases, he has 14mm triples and 22mm quads. If we are talkign dvd cases he has single width cases that hold up to 6 discs.

I just checked again, and they have 14mm three-disc cases, which you have to buy at least 50, and all the other 3 or more disc cases are 22mm. I'm sure they had more before, but that's all they have now.

I use these guys. I've bought from them several times over the past 5 years or so. However, shipping is not the cheapest. But I still use them.

Or you can try EBay.

I've heard the manufacturer's have to pay a royalty to have the Blu-ray logo on the cases. Might save money getting ones without logo.

Hmm...I just checked and they have 3, 4, 5, and 6 disk cases that come in 14mm black and some in clear. Pretty much the same selection I always see. Now you have to wait for a sale that happens quite often so you can get around 28% off and free shipping.

You do have to buy at least 50, but I've had no problem using them all. In fact, I've picked up multiple boxes over time to shrink the space needed for all my TV sets.

I'm looking for Blu-ray cases. Sorry, I didn't mention that since I was in the HD Talk thread, I thought it would be implied.

Not sure what the shipping to the US would be but these are really good quality Blu-ray cases out of Canada.

My mistake. I've seen threads popup from time to time about multi-disk DVD cases that I didn't pay attention to the forum section.

Re: Cheapest place to get 3 or 4 disc cases?

I've thought about getting new cases for years so I can combine the dvds into the same package as blus for dvds that have all the extras not the blu ray version.

One of these days.

Re: Cheapest place to get 3 or 4 disc cases?

I posted a thread about this in March

http://forum.dvdtalk.com/hot-deals/6...l#post12042605

The problem is the USPS told the major companies that sell these that they could no longer ship them media mail, so the price went crazy due to shipping.

I got my last batch by putting an add on Craig's List that I would pay 5 cents each for multi cases. Some guy GAVE me about 1,000 (though half or so were single disc cases)

If the price doesn't mater, several of the disc suppliers also sell the cases. If I can remember who I used to buy the from, I'll post it, but it's been quite awhile due to the pricing; & it appears that I deleted the bookmark.

Re: Cheapest place to get 3 or 4 disc cases?

Sadly, I just found who it was I used to get them from. They're called "American Digital". They no longer sell cases.

Super Media may still do an occasional clearance?

Moo is right, everything changed when the USPS stopped shipping them media mail. The original poster might have luck on eBay for the larger cases. There are multiple sellers on eBay with them.

While not a perfect solution, I just carefully slide the DVDs in a paper sleeve, and slip the paper sleeve between the grips on the inside of the blu-ray cover where insert goes. Most DVD's aren't worth selling so this provides a space saving backup for me.
