Has anyone read..... Marquis de Sade
The chief of perversion and a different shade to the world of literature. His novel Justine and 120 days in Gomorrah are good romps i've heard.

I've never read any books by him. But there's a .pdf available online right now. Grab it if you're curious, because books by de Sade don't seem to last online.
I'm skimming over it right now. I wouldn't call it a romp. It's ponderous.
Edit: I skipped about 300 pages and skimmed the last pages. It ends with the descriptions of a few hundred fantasy murders. Still not a romp.
