Help finding isometric exercise book?

When I was in high school back in the early 1960's we had a physical fitness program during the winter months. The "new" isometric exercises were the fad and before the program started we all had to do a series of tests and the coaches wrote down everything, for example - maximum bench press for each person, number of sit-ups a person could do, push-ups, time to climb the rope and girth of biceps, neck, thighs, etc., etc.

After the 10 weeks we had to do all of those things again and the improvement that every single person made was astounding.

We just used a piece of rope, around 6 feet long with 2 pieces of garden hose where we held on to it.

The book the coaches used was a thin one and the pictures were just sketches. Now I'd like to lay my hands on that very same book somewhere, but I don't know the name of it, nor if it's even still in print. The books I can find on Amazon seem to be more gimmicky than useful. This one was simple, probably cheap, and it certainly worked!

Any help will be appreciated. Please post links if you find something.
