Barnes & Noble 40% off sale (new releases and a few catalog titles)

Wow, this was unexpected. Some of the catalog and new release titles are pretty low beating Amazon's prices by a few dollars.

I picked up Vertigo, Rear Window, and some of the Spike Lee Joint collections for 11.99 each. I'm a member, so I still get free shipping. Take advantage, folks! Ravenous is $14.99 on BD, too.

A lot of catalog titles are showing up for $5.99 and up. Too many to list but give it a go if you have time.

They sent me a 20% off coupon on one item and I scooped up Strangers on a Train, which was regularly priced at 11.99. The tital shipped came to about $10. That's a great deal and I also noticed that some of the steelbooks are also on sale. Lords of Salem and Killing Them Softly are both $10.69 each. That's a steal.

They lowered the price on Jack Ryan-Shadow Recruit to $12.99. I think that I might grab it with a member coupon.

Spike Lee Joint Collection 1 (25th Hour/He Got Game) is $11.99. The Insider is also $11.99. That title doesn't seem to go on sale much.

I tried printing and of course you have to add their stupid print driver. All I get is a blank page. I still have toner left in the printer, so I don't understand what the problem is. I'll print it somewhere else later on. Thanks for the heads up on that.

each one's a separate thing. For the mfr coupon, the retailer gets reimbursed, so there's no reason why you should be denied. Stay your ground if they give you grief and talk to a dept manager explaining that one is a mfr coupon

Re: Barnes & Noble 40% off sale (new releases and a few catalog titles)

Lucked into this sale by going to B&N to check out my Wish List items, saw there was a sale going on then came here to get the latest buzz on it. Ended up picking up 4 BDs on 2 separate orders: Damnation Alley and Dark Angel (I Come In Peace) with a 15% Off code for $16.19 and $11.99 respectively. Then went back armed with the Father's Day 15% Off code and bought Lifeforce and The Island for $15.29 and $16.19 respectively. Best price for those on the internet...

Just bought online:

Herzog's Nosferatu - $14.99 (backorder)
A Touch of Evil - $17.99 ( backorder)
The Third Man (studio canal) - $11.99

All blu ray prices and free shipping. Not bad and all blind buys.

I'm a member and this past weekend's coupon was in-store only, and the code didn't work online when I tried. Did I miss something?

Don't think so. Previous posts read to me like orders from last weekend, online couponless ones and instore orders.
