I'm slowly switching my buying/collecting/hoarding from physical to digital when it comes to books, music, and comics. Perhaps it's time to do the same for film.

I have DVDs of both of these of course, but never bought the BDs iirc. I may bite.

Well, I've never seen BHC3, but it has a Rotten Tomato score of 10%. It must be pretty terrible.

Don't waste your time with it. 10% on RT is higher than I expected. It really is that bad.

BHC 3 isn't horrible, but it is the worst of the three - doesn't have a horrible plot, it's just not very funny, and it suffers from not having John Ashton in it.

Incidentally, Jerry Bruckheimer was quoted this week as saying a script for BHC 4 is ready, Eddie wants to do it, Brett Ratner still wants to direct it, and they're looking at the fall to start production.

What would I even play these on? And while they may be "HD", they're compressed HD.

iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, PC with iTunes, Mac with iTunes.

And there is no lossless HD; even on Blu-ray, its compressed HD.

I got most of my digital copy codes "free" with blu-ray's, but the Godfather box set did not have digital codes and that price was right. I have some on iTunes and some on ultraviolet/flixster/vudu. I don't have a media server (yet) so when I just want to watch something on a whim and don't want to bother finding and loading a disc, it is convenient. Fortunately the video quality is better than I expected on both iTunes/appletv and the vudu/ultraviolet app on my sony tv. I've found that most non-tech-minded people do not notice significant differences between a blu-ray and HD digital copy on an average tv screen.

I have used the 1st one (WD Live ) for years ( for DVD quality up-converting via Receiver) to play contents from Hard drives to 50 inch-TV. works flawlessly. It has HDMI out. There are newer versions available.
