I really enjoyed this show so I'm glad we are getting a movie in the Farscape Universe.
Set to follow the awesome comics written by our favorite Keith R.A. DeCandido, the film would follow John and Aeryn's son, D'Argo (or Little D, as we will always refer to him). Because their baby was exhibiting a set of interesting powers that made him a magnet for galactic villains, we find that John and Aeryn hide their son on Earth to grow up. Now the kid is 19 and ready to go into space with his parents.

I love Farscape but am not interested in the kid.

Bah, got my hopes up after reading the title. This needs to have all of the crew back not just the kids. Hopefully John and Aeryn will have a larger part other than to introduce the kid.

"Working on a script" doesn't mean a movie will happen. There's thousands of unproduced scripts in Hollywood.

John And Aeryn are the show. It wouldn't be the same without the original D'Argo. And while I really like the "universe" created for this show, I hate how any show/movie just uses the names of "beloved" shows that have little or no relations to the original characters. The only show I can think of that did that kind of transaction correctly was ST:NG (goes without saying, DR Who does it well also). So it can happen. But it is tough to do that in the timeframe of a movie.

Re: Farscape Movie is a Go
I always have a bit of a soft spot for Farscape since it's something I initially thought was completely silly (right up there with Babylon 5 ... and come to think of it, most SciFi TV with foreign characters via makeup), but ended up charmed and liking it. I never watched it live, but when I came upon the end of the DVD's, I wanted it to continue (even though I thought the quality was waning). Then came The Peacekeeper Wars miniseries. For me, that was an example of how difficult it is to recapture magic. With John and Aeryn on Stargate:SG-1 (as other characters), the pretty much ended any desire for me to see them get back together on Farscape. It was a nice few seasons. I don't need to see anymore.
That said, if the new movie happens to be good, I'll watch it. I like the genre.
