Do you folks that have K-marts/SYWR get bonus points frequently? I get $4-5 in free points almost on a weekly basis it seems. I've already used a $5 bonus a few days ago, but I wouldn't surprised to get more before the week is out. If so, I might consider picking this up.

For a while I noticed I was getting bonus SYW bucks for no reason, but then they started attaching conditions to them, like they were only good for certain kinds of products, and I don't recall getting any recently.

Checking my account, I received $7 in points in December for no reason and another $10 in January ... though in both cases they expired before I realized I had them.

I got the $5 in points too. But either I didn't get an e mail or it went to my junk mail. And to top it off I had a gift card too, so nothing out of pocket.

I had $5 that expired 4/1 (used that day). A new $5 bonus good from 4/2-4/8 (used on the 3rd). Today, an e-mail with more bonus money. This time, $5 for Kmart and $6 for Sears. I like free money.

haha, I just came to post the same thing. I thought it had something to do with me going by yesterday to pick up Anchorman. Guess I'll have to find something else to spend it on now. Too bad our closest store is going out of business in the next couple weeks.

I didn't get the one for Sears though. Do you have to be signed up through them as well?

How much are you guys spending when you go there with your certs? The last couple of times I got them, I think I spent less than a dollar more than the amount of the cert. Maybe that's why they stopped sending them to me, lol.

That's usually what I do. Spend 1-2 bucks at most over the reward value. I don't shop there to spend any real money. IIRC, in the last year, I only spent more than a buck or two at Kmart ONCE. And that was due to a store closing, so I got some things on clearance. I haven't shopped at Sears in years.

EDIT: Just checked my account. Today I was given another free $4 to spend at Kmart (on non-food/pharmacy). I also got $7 at Sears, but requires a $20 purchase.

I've used my surprise points to get blu ray preorders at sears.com or kmart.com. They discount the preorders by ten percent up through the first week of release and give free shipping with the free shipping max program.
I got the Ms.45 Blu ray for example. They have a lot of shout factory blu rays at reasonable price especially up until the week it is released. I just got electra glide in blue with surprise points as well. They gave me 7 dollars in surprise points last week for that one. Shout factory has a line of Blu ray releases that are cheaper like Heavy Traffic, and Electra Glide in Blue that are great for these deals.

Yeah, I have no email indicating that I received the 4 dollars that I found in my account yesterday, and I even checked my SPAM folders. I actually have no Kmart emails of this kind for some time. Makes me wonder if they've still been giving me the bonuses all along, but stopped emailing me for some reason, which would suck.

Sleepaway camp is up for preorder for 17.99. If Ihad a coupon for 7 off than I would want to get that. The UPC matches the blu ray from shout factory. There also preorder dvd or blu rays available to get it up to 20 dollars.

Glad to help. I think with the free points, sears.com has the best deal on shout factory products especially preorders. I love the stuff Shout Factory has been releasing and have been getting them at Sears since they started to give free money several months ago.
