Synopsis:

It's more than Marge can swallow when she learns Lisa is dating a budding competitive eater, so she recruits Homer to give Lisa a taste of what other romantic options she has. Meanwhile, Bart helps an escaped convict out of a jam and is showered with gifts, but Milhouse gets the prisoner sent back and Bart must concoct a plan to spring him.

What a stupid ending ! Why did they have Marge barge in on Homer and Lisa? What was up with the joke with the dress.

It could have been a nice ending with Lisa and her dad having a nice bonding moment - and then have a funny flash forward to an adult Lisa.

On Project Runway there was a challenge to design a dress for Marge and this was it.

Good episode but I do agree the ending was kind of soured by Marge coming in. I liked the parallels between Homer and the kid Lisa was into though. The Project Runway dress joke confused me at first but then I remembered reading they had done that and found it sort of funny.

Yeah it was weird, the focus of the episode was Homer, but needed to be Homer/Lisa.

Never heard of the Project Runway thing so...

I think the episode was OK.
