Banshee - "Bloodlines" - 1/31/14
Following a lead from Brock (Matt Servitto), Lucas visits a strict Amish schoolteacher who might have insights into the murder of Kinaho tribe member Lana Cleary and the disappearance of Solomon Bowman (Gunnar Carrigan). Emmett (Demetrius Grosse) and Siobhan find transferring a captive Chayton more difficult than expected. Rebecca copes with the pain of her parents' rejection. Proctor offers Alex a peace offering, and Nola (Odette Annable) delivers a final blow for justice.

I know nothing about this show, other than I saw Ivana Milicevic on Craig Ferguson, and now I am very interested in seeing it. How is it? Good, bad, or ugly?

It is awesome. You need to start from the beginning, though.

I'll doubly raise that. I usually find "action" shows to be bleh and too wrapped up in macho stereotypes and take themselves very seriously, just not really my cup of tea. My Banshee is different. It is just so awesomely bizarre and consistently entertaining. It is one of the most thoroughly enjoyable shows on television, in so many ways. You should definitely catch up, all the episodes are on demand currently.

Given the progression of her relationship with Hood, I think Siobhan might not be making it out alive this year.

TIL Hoon Lee (Job) voices Hamato Yoshi/Splinter in the new TMNT cartoon on Nick.
That was a cool episode. Are we supposed to believe that big huge guy ran off as fast as he did last week after Hood shot him? Didn't make a ton of sense considering his size. Proctor is one fucking badass dude.
Great sex scene again with Rebecca.
Nice to see Rabbit back.

How in the hell does Rabbit just show up, at a prison no less, and not get arrested? Lame.
Also, how in the hell do those guys know exactly where/when to pick up that big Indian dude. So convenient that he planned the car crash just like that...
I can overlook certain contrivances when things are kickass, but this show's fucking pushing it.

...still loving the show, liking when Proctor and Hood are on the same side for a common cause...

That was awesome.
Job's lines were hilarious. Loved psycho Indian dude's escape from custody.
at how he was antagonizing Emmett about his race.
Lucas' fight scene with the big Amish dude was awesome.
at Proctor's dentistry work.
Hopefully this isn't the last we see of Nola.
and wow. You have to give Lilli Simmons some credit the girl isn't shy.
Has anyone here watched the Banshee Origins vignettes?
