Banshee - "The Warrior Class" - 1/24/14
A shocking murder near an Amish farm fractures relations between the Kinaho tribe and the Amish, who are forced to rely on Proctor to fend off a vengeful mob. Investigating the crime on Kinaho turf, Lucas and his deputies find themselves confronted by uncooperative gang members and their imposing leader, Chayton Littlestone (Geno Segers). Meanwhile, Carrie welcomes an unexpected visitor, while Lucas deals with the sudden appearance of a most unwelcome one.

Why is it that this show has better fight scenes than 95% of any movie that comes out? That big dude was fucking huge.
that we finally get to Shibon's tits!
I wonder what Hood's real son is going to do to fuck up the deal he made. Seems like that may be the direction it is headed.

That was fucking awesome. Loved Loved Loved it.
at Hood's fight scene with the crazy Indian. Some crazy shit in that scene. I had to laugh also at how articulate that crazy Indian was. He spoke really well.
Siobhan getting it on with Hood. Hood is just like Scott on Strike Back. Doesn't turn down any pussy. We all know it's not going to last since Carrie/Anna is his true love, but hell I'll enjoy seeing him hit every piece of ass that throws themselves at him.
With the final scene at the coroner's office, I guess we're supposed to assume that Nola committed the murder right?

Just as long as they don't try to make us believe that the obviously heavy-set dude in the black hoodie running amok in the woods was also her then I'm OK with that.

Justified definitely kicks all sorts of ass. Love Boyd and Raylan. But for me personally, Banshee does everything right. Boobies, violence, action, suspense. I honestly haven't been this satisfied with a show since the first season of Mad Men.

Are they both not shows that are on TV now? That's the only criteria I was using, therefore it was fair. But then it's not like I was comparing a high school musical to a soap about doctors either.

Loved it... its one of my top three right now, granted I don;t watch everything on tv like some do, but a show has to be pretty good to just lure me in
If I was Hood, I wouldn't be turning down the quality women throwing themselves at him either... I'm sure if some ugly 300 lb beast came a calling, he would turn it down

Or for a movie example someone saying that The Exorcist is better than A Nightmare on Elm Street despite them being two different types of horror movies, and only saying "well there both movies".

Dude, take it easy. I was only responding directly to this:with my own imho, therefore everything on tv was fair game, regardless of being similar or not. Regardless, they're still more similar to each other than they are to most other shows.

Yes, Strikeback, GoT, MadMen, are all shows I think are better than Banshee. But, I was just grabbing one show for example, and Justified's more in line with Banshee than those other shows.

In other shocking news, it was announced today that the earth is not flat. j/k
Banshee is a show that will be on a very long time. Not only is it a truly fun show, and very popular, but none of the actors have really broke out either so it will probably remain pretty inexpensive to make. By season 3 or 4 it could become popular enough for it to sell Cinemax subscriptions all by itself.

I would compare Banshee more to Strike Back than Justified. All 3 were good but B has the same edginess as SB.
As to GOT, that's so different as to render it meaningless when trying to compare it to those 3, IMO.
