Supernatural -- "Road Trip" -- 1/14/14

Synopsis:

"Road Trip" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

DEAN'S BEST CHANCE OF SAVING SAM LIES WITH CROWLEY - Dean (Jensen Ackles) is devastated after Kevin's death and vows to find the angel that killed him, not only to free Sam (Jared Padalecki), but to seek revenge. Castiel (Misha Collins) arrives at the bunker and suggests they try to separate Sam's brain from the angel's so they can talk to Sam and have him expel Gadreel. However, there's one small problem: the only person who knows how to do that is Crowley (Mark Sheppard). Robert Singer directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb (910).

CW says that Supernatural is expected to get renewed for a 10th season and doesn't rule out it going longer than that. The ratings are up this season for those unaware.

They are also producing a backdoor Pilot for a potential spinoff.

Ugh. I like the show still(and it's amazing how much better it became after Sera Gamble) but hopefully they make season ten the final season. We don't really need 14 seasons of Supernatural, or the show to be cancelled before getting a proper send off.

I say keep going, at least for a little while. Amazing that this show has lasted so long...

The show hasn't been this good in quite awhile. I was pretty close to bailing a couple seasons ago. Good riddance to Sera Gamble.
