Mr. Stink

Fun little show on PBS right now (8:13 EST). Just a heads-up for somebody wanting to watch a family-friendly show with a good hearted-message (the titular character is a homeless person who can has the power of controlling his stink while dispensing wisdom to an under-appreciated but kindhearted girl).

I know...sounds lame (or even offensive), but you might be surprised. Pretty good this far.

EST watchers coming in late can probably catch it later (at least, our stations usually air reruns after midnight).

Re: Mr. Stink

Finished watching it...held up pretty well. Has a Christmas-themed message about homelessness. Not too smarmy or brow-beating and has some cute bits. One warning for parents: The line "You can stick it up your fat bum" does appear twice. That'll probably pull in a few more viewers.

Anyway, you could spend a worse hour on tv, but it's not a holiday classic or anything. Just a good watch and decent performances...about what you'd expect from a Christmas special.

Agreed but Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham really did lose his fortune apparently.
