I've seen all of these on TV already with the exception of Boardwalk Empire. I have HBO, but that's a show I haven't made the time to watch, but decided to blind buy each season when they came out. Was waiting for season 3 to drop under $20 and this was perfect.

Target has the DVD version for $10. If someone has advertised the BD version for $10, I"m not aware of it. But it's certainly possible...

What I do with BBY purchases is buy with store pickup. That way I just let them expire if a better deals comes along. I guess it doesn't matter that much b/c I've done a bunch of returns this year and they haven't restricted me yet.

You must've cancelled your Amazon order for Newsroom S1. The only reason I remember is that it didn't seem to be that much of a bargain and I was surprised you bit.

Most of these prices are good, but not great and after FC, I will be waiting for something I really want immediately or is really cheap. I can't buy everything

In for Arrow and Breaking Bad Season 5. I picked up Breaking Bad a couple of weeks ago @ 19.99 but returned it the other day when I saw it was going to be on sale even cheaper. Great price on Arrow as I have been holding out hoping for a good price and this is definitely better than I expected.

Hope this sale holds for a couple more days as I also want to pick up Spartacus War of the Damned and another copy of Arrow as a gift.

Edit: Noticed they have a new release of Farscape The Complete Series for 59.99. Reviews on Amazon make it sound as if it is the same release with slightly a better picture. I bought the dvd set a couple of years ago for $50(still unopened), but I am not sure if it is worth selling it and making the upgrade. Especially since I have never watched the show.

Shit I'll have to pick up The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Sixth Season and Boardwalk Empire: The Complete Third Seasonfor sure, Arrow: The Complete First Season could be a blind buy but not sure I want it that bad. Of course I did just pick up House of Cards: The Complete First Season for $19.99 last week.

To do this, I would have to order each item separately I assume? I wouldn't think you could pick up only part of an order, and let the other items expire.
I was restricted by them once, when they first started that stupid policy. But I haven't done many returns this year, so I'm not too concerned about that.

As for Newsroom, I got it from Amazon, but will return it. $28 sounded decent to me for a $80 title, but to save $6 more I'll return it. It came a bit banged up anyway. You have a good memory though!

I did place 5 orders from FC, but I have been really good this year (pretty much only buying titles which had exclusives I had to have) so I've been saving for BF week. I still have a few hundred bucks left in my BD budget, so I'm not holding back!

Why isn't Spartacus: Gods Of The Arena coming up as $9.99. Giving me a "coming soon" comment, but is this only going to be for this friday?

Thanks, I missed that one earlier. Coulda sworn it was the DVD version, which will be $9.99 for BF. For $3 more, an easy BD upgrade. Ordered for in-store pickup.

yeah, you'd have to place separate orders. I guess if there's something you're unsure about, but want to lock in the purchase, it's the best way to go. Last year, I did this mainly on FOX titles because I didn't know if it would be on sale at FC (no tax, cheaper), but since they did their sale early, I don't have to worry.

Hmmm ... I got hooked on Spartacus when Netflix was streaming it. They pulled it when I was only half-way through the first season though ... I may have to bite on this. Wouldn't even think about it if they were all $9.99.

The final season "War of the Damned" is $16.99 -- Is that the one you're talking about?

Gods of the Arena ($9.99) is a prequel series that takes place before season 1. It was made when Andy Whitfield got sick before they started filming season 2. He then died afterwards. You have to watch it before you watch season 2 because they introduce some characters in it that are important to later in the series.

Great to see the previous seasons of Dexter for $20. I might have to check out my local stores to see if they are in-stock there.
