Re: Hostages -- "Loose Ends" -- 11/18/13
So let me get something straight,
Duncan's wife is the bastard daughter of the POTUS. She's dying of Leukemia and is sharing the same rare blood type. His marrow would save her. However, he doesn't know about her and if he did (according to Duncan, he would have her killed) Kind of a convoluted scenario, yet interesting.
Poor agent Hoffman. Duncan goes through all that trouble to save him and then he gets whacked anyways.
And to top it off, the Chief of Staff gets whacked as well.
What was the point of the lipstick that Duncan gave to Ellen?

It was before, but this time when Ellen had the contents of the lipstick package analyzed (presumably for some way to counteract it), it didn't come back as what she expected. Instead, it came back as a drug that helps in bone marrow transplants, which Duncan's wife needs. It looked like Duncan was making sure that got smuggled in. We don't yet know the plan for getting the poison in the OR.
At least that's how I remember it.
