I'm surprised that suffocation was used, as I am under the impression it's easy to detect during a routine autopsy.
And that was an interesting non-discussion between Red and Tom (who didn't look too happy with Red).

I felt like the conversation between Red and Tom started off innocent enough. However, by the end I felt like Tom had dropped his act and there was suddenly a huge unspoken subtext and mutual understanding on both their parts.
It appeared Red looked up some young adult in the database? I assume it wasn't a young Lizzy. Didn't jive with the timeline or her getting into the FBI. Perhaps her mother?

Could my Pilot prediction actually be true?
Seemed like it in this episode. Lizzie's adoptive father was planning to reveal the "truth" and Red murdered him to cover it up. A thorough autopsy would have definitely shown that he died from getting smothered than his body giving out because of the cancer.
Bill Sadler is certainly making the rounds as a TV guest star.
The opening sequence with the plane parts falling from the sky was pretty spectacular.
I forgot to mention it previously, but is it just me or has Ressler seemed more of a wimp than some badass agent? I believe he's gotten his ass beaten up twice this season. 2 weeks ago he got his ass kicked by Zanetakos.

I kinda think Red is the uncle, and his sister was the woman whose photo he grabbed from the cleaner's book of photos, and is Lizzy's mom.

Personally I hope it really hasn't been set in stone yet what he is supposed to be. They had to have known that everyone would figure out that he was her dad from early on so Patman's theory makes a lot of sense to me.

Am I the only 1 who found it really convenient that the armored car being chased just happens to back down the alley with the Ludd demonstration going on. That seemed a little contrived.
As to the genealogy sometimes simple is best. He's her father.
