REVOLUTION / revisited

I first saw Al Pacino in REVOLUTION on vhs in 1986.
Of course it wasn't widescreen and the movie looked off color kinda like it was filmed to look that way. This new dvd print looks beautiful and is in widescreen but they changed the movie. They added a narration using Al Pacino as he sounds today with his gravel voice he has now. This ruins the movie and at first it reminded me of THE ROAD WARRIOR opening scene where there is a narration. It worked fine in that movie but not here.
Now I do recommend buying this dvd for the extra of Al Pacino & director Hugh Hudson sit down conversation of this movie. Some good stuff which I won't reveal.
I never thought this was a good movie when I first saw it and have seen it like 4 more times since. What I liked was how Al Pacino still looked and acts like Tony Montana but without the spanish accent.
Buy for the extras.
