Nah, I think more people will bitch about the contrived and overdone plot this time around.

Should I start bitching now or after the episode airs?

It's just a superhero show. It doesn't have to be good.

Isn't this the Skye-centric episode? It could be brilliant IF watched on mute.

I already own the Dark Knight trilogy and the two new Star Trek films. I hope tonight's episode is better than those.

I just flipped it to ABC since my wife loves Goldbergs and I saw the very last scene in tonight's episode. Was that something to do with the Silver Surfer at the very end? I'll go back and watch the entire episode after this goes off.

Was it ANY better than the first two? Please give me hope.

Based on the comments every week, I'm glad I decided to sit this show out.

Objectively, I don't see how anyone can defend it at this point.

Yes, the show IS terrible. Mainly, I think, because of the idiotic, moronic british scientists. They just drag everything down. I couldn't get into the show because I kept getting distracted by their constant whining and weakness. I really don't think I'll keep watching the show because of them. There are plenty of other shows that aren't annoying, cheap, and boring.

I wonder how long it will take the team, and Coulsen himself, to find out that that's not really Coulsen.....

Until it has actual superheroes in it, it's not a superhero show. A little technological bug that gives people strength just doesn't cut it.

I didn't see this because I was unexpectedly away and apparently have not set up a pass on my Tivo for the show. It sounds like it was no big loss. I'll try to be back next week...

I liked it. I like all of the characters except for Agent Ward so far. I don't hate the character I just hope he gets better. I do hope that after we get some back story for each character that they introduce a long running arc for the season kind of like what Whedon did for Buffy and Angel. Have stand alone episodes that play into a larger season long story.

Spoiler:
The episode was a Graviton origin, and that's who that was at the end.

I thought the episode was pretty uneven overall. First half was boring and my mind was starting to wander. Second half was much better.

A Superhero show without the "Super."

This episode was a dud.

This episode wasn't a dud. It was pretty good.

A lot of people forget how many shows started off rather uninspired only to become really good later on. This is pretty good, and it's setting up some stuff that could pay off in some very good episodes later on.

I'm enjoying the series so far. Episodes 2 & 3 were better than the pilot.

Took every word I was going to type.

I had a good time watching the show tonight and last weeks was much better than the Pilot.

What can I say, I have fun watching the series. I like it because it is not like anything else on TV.

I do not need another one hour "Drama" TV show, there are tons of those already on.

Sometimes I just need a show that is fun and this is it. It is also cool to have part of Marvel comics on TV.

I am hooked.

Master Obi-Wan is correct on the ending.
