Loved Jeff just laying into Colton, could tell he was pissed he was even cast.

Only 3 episodes in and the 2 people I didn't want in the game are gone.

Lot of people were down on this when it was announced but I think this has been a good season so far, and it has the potential to have the craziest merge ever.

Colton

... even Caleb seemed thrilled he was gone!

That challenge was a heart breaker for the n00bs.

Colton deserved his verbal smackdown but Jeff is the worlds biggest hypocrite since the only reason Brandon was cast last season was because of his boner for all things Hantz.

I loved Colton doing his fake cry. He just wanted off since he couldn't play his reindeer games this time. Boo hoo, goodbye. I feel bad for Caleb.

I was really hoping for the double blindside. Ohwell. Would be funny if the next RI challenge was a puzzle and the dude was sent home.

Good to see Hayden through a Big Brother reference in there...it even made it into the episode title.

I wonder if any of them pointed out to Colton that if he didn't want to play then he should at least stick around so he could save his fiance if he ever gets voted out to Redemption Island. Of course chances were higher than Colton would be voted there first anyway.

Big Brother should snap Colton up. He'd make most of this past season's player's look good.

For those of you who don't watch BB, Hayden has the skill set to do quite well in this game. He's not only likeable; he's likeable in a way that makes people trust him. Brad Culpepper may think he's in charge...

Sorry to see Tyson's girl go so quickly. Any girl who would date Tyson would have to be an interesting character on her own.

John and Candice probably got screwed by being last second replacements.

In recent comments, Probst talks like he was overruled by the other producers on casting Colton again, but, of course, that might have been an element of hindsight in that...

I am actually liking Tyson this time. Maybe it was his girl bringing out the softer side of him, but he's also funny.

John screwed himself by trusting Culpepper. He should have kept the HII to himself. I don't dislike any of the present occupants of RI. It would have been cool if John had just told everyone when he was leaving all the info on the idol, just so Culpepper wouldn't have it to himself, but I know he couldn't do that, because you don't know if you might get back in the game. Candice is killing the challenges.

I hope the returning fans win again next week and send Culpepper (who thinks he's running the game) to RI. That would be awesome. Probably won't happen, but one can wish...

I don't think that was common knowledge. Jeff really threw him under the bus by telling him that he quit in the last game as well. Interesting part was Colton didn't really disagree, only mumbling about being treated for a bacterial infection. It was enjoyable to see that breakdown.

I'm not familiar with John and Candace (didn't watch the season she was on previously), but I really like them. Of course, John could have done things a little differently -- sharing the clue/idol with his alliance, actually finding the idol and not walking away from his alliance to go look for it would have all been wise moves.

Re: Survivor: Blood vs. Water -- "Opening Pandora's Box" -- 10/02/2013

While it was nice to see Jeff lay into Colton, it still rings hollow. He spent the reunion show in Colton's previous season trying to rehabilitate his image (which I assume was for the possibility of bringing him back); if he knew he quit, why not confront him then? And how is he recast after quitting once?

But Jeff showed him - he refused to give him the "honor" of burning his buff.

I hope Candace makes it out of RI, both from an eye candy perspective and a game perspective. Sucks that she's wasted on the show because of a somewhat pre-arranged alliance prior to the game.

I agree with all of this. I've always been someone who puts more weight on the people who excel at the competitions and Candice has already done more this season than many people who will likely go a lot further in the game. I hate RI and I hate the fact that they even would allow contestants to speak before the show to arrange any kind of pre-game alliance.

Colton deserved that smackdown, but it would have been even better if Jeff got one right after for even allowing Colton to return.

Colton, what a baby. Gay stereotypes exist for a reason... he did that community no favors.

Jeff is so pompous and annoying.

It may not be a popular idea but since the CBS reality shows share so many contestants these days I'd actually like to see them rotate the hosts once. Let Phil do a season of Survivor and Jeff run a season of The Amazing Race just to see how how that would change the dynamic of things. Or could you imagine Jeff as the host of Big Brother even?

He was my preseason pick to win. That tribe seems doomed though. Hopefully he can be the last one standing.

Yeah, I didn't think very much of Jeff ripping into Colton. Not that Colton didn't deserve it in spades, but they should never have brought him back and I have trouble believing that Jeff was vehemently against it.

I seem to remember that Candice was a strong competitor in her previous season as well. Big kudos to her.

So do Candice and John work as a team to try and dominate Redemption?
Or will they decide amongst them that one or the other will take a loss?

Candice was great in her season, I was a big fan

Is her last name really Shallow? She seemed pretty shallow in last week's interview. I absolutely don't want to watch her interview Colton.
