Been thinking about this ever since finishing the sp story. I think 6 will be set in Vice City since we already have revisited liberty city and los santos. But here's where I think they could change up the formula:

Have the game use the three character switching system only have it span three different time periods. 60's Cold War era, 80's scarface/vice city era, and present day time.

The three char. would be genial. Father, Son, Grandson. So you would start with only one playable character but with each time period have new character introduced.

I wish they'd do Rio de Janeiro. They can reuse Max Payne levels.

I don't know if a modern day Vice City would work. Perhaps expanding it to the entire state of Florida would work. You could have Vice City, an Orlando stand-in, complete with a Disney World type of complex, and something more northern, like say Jacksonville.

Hell, you could even throw in Cuba. How awesome would it be to be able to go in and wreak havoc down there? Of course on that island all you'd find are old Packards, but still.

Nothing would make me happier to never revisit Vice City. While not the worst in the series, it was def the worst setting and story. I want to move beyond the established locations and take an American character abroad, like Niko coming to America. Set it in England, but you can have all the islands of United Kingdom involved. Have the character get involved with the IRA or something.

They already made that, it was called Mafia, it was better than GTA III (PC Version to PC Version, as played in 2002).

but for GTA I think with them going three characters in GTA5, they might want to try something a little different and open the game up more. Maybe 3 or more major cities that you can move between.

I think they should build on the already created map and expand outwards with highways to Las Venturas, San Fierro and an updated Liberty City.

I loved Vice City and would love to see that return. They did London back in GTA2, so they could revisit that too.

I personally would like DLC or a next-generation/PC port before we start talking about GTA VI.

I'm okay with waiting another five years for a GTA game, especially if they're able to outdo V.

I'm thinking they will look back to the east coast. Updated Vice City. Could be really cool with updated graphics ... imagine the random storms they could pull off. Would be neat to travel to another city at some point in the game however. How about a GTA take on Philadelphia?
