My girlfriend is interested in getting this player via Amazon with her Jaboom GC's.
Does anyone know if there is any symbol/icon displayed onscreen during freeze frame? She bought a Phillips previously and returned it because of this as she found it quite annoying.
If anyone knows, I'd appreciate the answer as it will save me a trip to a B&M store to find out. Thanks.

No symbol except for the word "pause" for about 5 seconds, then it goes away. Only problem is you have to find the pause button! Nice unit -- great zoom.
