Walt's kind of a given, isn't he? His character has a built-in expiration date.

I can see a Godfather III ending where Walt lives but in order to do so he has to kill Jesse, Hank and even Skyler. Walt Jr. might not die but Walt still 'loses' him. It'll be the ironic bookend as Walt only did all this for his family. In the end he'll have all the money but no family.
I think the only safe assumption is that this will be awesome.

It'll end like Six Feet Under, but instead of going far into the future it goes across the next few weeks where they're all systematically hunted down.
Oh and Hank is a goner.

Did Gomez already bite it? If not he'll be the first to go.

If everyone does die at the end, that would be devastating but satisfying at the same time.
I have no idea who will bite it but I have to say that this show has been one of the most consistent in quality for every season. I don't remember many shows where there wasn't at least one season that I did not care for. This show is up there with Six Feet Under for me.

Skyler, Walt Jr and the baby. That would be the ultimate hell for Walt. Kind of like Vic Mackey becoming a paper pusher in The Shield finale.

^ thought the same thing. Everyone around him dies and he is left to wither away with cancer and on the run with noone left.
Maybe Marie survives and ends up with Holly whose first words are "what's for breakfast?"

I've been rewatching the series and Walt does not deserve a heroes death. He was a dick to everyone from episode 1. Everything that has gone wrong this far has been from his doing.
There's only two outcomes IMO. Either Walt dies or everyone around him does.

Just finished marathoning the show again. Walt is not an anti-hero, he's the bad guy of the show. The "good" guy is Jesse, I would love for him to have a good ending.
Oh and I still hate the way Hank discovers about Walt.

I'm marathoning and 3/4 through season 2 and it's ridiculous how Walt just turns everyone who offers help away. He could have had a high paying job, insurance for the cancer, etc. but he was too proud leading to the Walt we got. Everything is his doing.
Jessie isn't innocent, at the end of the day he is still a drug addict and dealer, but he has a soul unlike Walt. He always tries to do the right thing but Walt forces his hand. He certainly doesn't deserve to walk off into the sunset, but he deserves a better end than Walt.
