Transvision Vamp remasters. + Any fans?
I just found out that new remasters of the first two albums from Transvision Vamp have been released in the U.K. I was wondering if anyone has heard them and what the audio quality is like? Basically are they mastered well or brickwalled to death and awful sounding?
The main thing that interests me about the releases are the bonus tracks which compile many remixes and some unreleased songs. The remixes I have never really liked. But songs like Sweet Thing and Honey Honey are awesome tunes that weren't on the actual albums. So I'd love to have those songs finally, and trying to buy the singles releases which included some of the tracks would cost far to much compared to buying the two new releases.
I do own their three albums, all of which are excellent in my opinion. So I already have good sounding editions of the albums. But it'd really be a shame if the new remasters are destroyed by the 'loudness wars'. So I'll hold on to the originals just to be safe. But any information on the sound quality of the remasters is greatly appreciated.

And a couple videos to give you an idea of their sound if you've never heard of them.

I love Tell That Girl To Shut Up. I never really paid any attention to their other songs though. Maybe I should check them out. Those samples sounded pretty good.

I have a couple of their albums on cassette but haven't listened to them in years. I'll have to go pull them out and listen to them again.
