Kevin Hart - Let Me Explain
So, after playing sold-out gigs all over the world recently, Kevin Hart returns to the US, and plays Madison Square Garden. The comedy concert film runs a little short, but the laughs come fast and are plentiful, and Hart is damn funny. There's one bit that had me hurting from laughing, made it tough to breathe for a while.
Fair warning: The N-word gets used quite a lot by Hart.
I give it 2.75 stars, or a grade of B- (if it was longer with more material, I'd bump up the grade).

If he gets to use that word why can't I?!
The previews I saw for this made it look terrible - mediocre joke, cut to audience going apeshit. Another unfunny joke, cut to the audience going apeshit with a standing applause. Fire shoots from the stage, audience going apeshit....

^well it is a standup comedy movie. Personally this should of been a showtime special but since people like him, & can get people to pay to see a 75 minute stand up comedy movie, why not

Re: Kevin Hart - Let Me Explain
From what I could find...
I was able to see that it MAY come from the 1930s, in New Jersey. While I tried to click on the link it said my IP was banned and that I could in an it buuuuut I'd rather not out any of my info into that.
Overall it just seems like another addition to the shit words. Chickenshit, bullshit, horseshit, etc.

Anyways......Hart's a funny dude and I love his Husbands of Hollywood show on BET. I'd give this a chance.

What's up with the length of his routine, the actual stand up comedy part is only like 56 minutes, which is like an HBO special. WTF
They had to add in some other scripted stuff just to get this movie to a very short feature length.
Weak sauce. I'll wait until video.

Re: Kevin Hart - Let Me Explain
When I've seen Chris Rock and George Carlin live, they've done nearly 90 minutes.
I'm just surprised, with as hot as Hart is right now, he couldn't have done a 75 minute set or something for an actual theatrically released "concert film."
I'm sure it's funny, but I'll wait.

The scripted stuff at the beginning and end was kind of corny, but the actual show was good. Would have wanted to see more of the traveling stuff though, that was interesting. Not the bus shit, but going out into the city.
