Spot The Actor

Have you ever been watching a movie and suddenly see someone you never expected to see in it ? Or have you ever been watching a movie that you've seen a million times, and just now notice an actor in it that you that you didn't know was in it ? I am in the middle of Superman III and found Cary Elwes. It's just a picture on display at the high school reunion, but I've never noticed it before.

I looked it up to make sure, and Cary Elwes was Marlon Brando's assistant on the first Superman movie.

Re: Spot The Actor

Doesn't really look like Cary Elwes. But I did like the anecdote that Marlon Brando told Cary Elwes that he was lying about his name and that Cary Elwes' real name was Rocky.

Blink and you'll miss him, but Ron Jeremy is in Ghostbusters for a split second.

I realize he's not a traditional actor, but he's well known.

Camryn Manheim as an extra in Sudden Impact (at 0:28):

This is a bit more prominent role for a still unknown Jim Carrey in The Dead Pool:

Re: Spot The Actor

Here's a few others...

1) In the first "Mission: Impossible" film, Emilio Estevez appears uncredited as tech guru Jack Harmon.
2) Elijah Wood was one of two extras, playing arcade kids in "Back to the Future, Part II".
3) Bonnie Hunt appears briefly in "Dave", as a White House tour guide.
4) Gwyneth Paltrow plays younger versions of Wendy Darling in "Hook".
5) Frank Whaley has a minor role in "Broken Arrow", as Pentagon adviser Giles Prentice.

Good idea for a thread, but that clearly is not Cary Elwes in the first picture.

Re: Spot The Actor

James Dean can be spotted in bit parts in FIXED BAYONETS, SAILOR BEWARE, and HAS ANYBODY SEEN MY GAL? but I'm not going to the effort of finding screen grabs, esp. since Spottedfeather has probably never even heard of him.

Sylvester Stallone had a 10 second cameo in Staying Alive, which he directed.

It's Gavan O'Herihy, isn't it? I'm assuming Brad took Lana to the prom.

You have to remember that this was 30 years ago...

It's clear to anyone with eyes that it's Cary Elwes...unless he has a twin brother.

So everyone else is wrong? I don't even see a remote similarity.

Different Cary Elwes maybe? Because it definitely doesn't look one bit like Cary Elwes the actor.
