I feel like Jay-z has been in coast mode for a while now, but him in coast is better than most other mainstream hiphop acts. Going by the snippets of beats in the commercial for this, it sounds like he has some serious potential bangers on his hands. I cannot wait for this.

Yeezus, Born Sinner, and Magna Carta Holy Grail in a matter of weeks? Regardless of the quality of the work, when was the last time so many big releases came out in such quick succession. Not to mention Drake drops in late August, so this is a pretty big summer for block buster hiphop.

Some songs are def underwelming (mainly Jay Z Blue and Fuckwithmeyouknowigotit) its a very good album & better than Blueprint 3 for sure

I haven't been able to listen to it on my Galaxy S4. The app never gets past the title screen. Apparently a lot of others are having the same problem. Really disappointing.

Itunes has the album as a pre order to be released tuesday, and most songs are on youtube

Hard to believe it's been a decade since Jay-Z inititlaly announced his retirement, only to backtrack and release Kingdom Come.

He's still one of my favorites, but his last great disc was The Black Album. Everything since then hasn't been able to match the quality, but I did enjoy Blueprint 3 more than most.

Is this getting a physical retail release?
