Looks decent but the trailer appears to give away the ending.

Incredibly average and cliched. Kind of shocking the filmmakers were able to rope in Gary Oldman and Harrison Ford...

The interviews Heard did for this on Conan were really fun though.

Watched this on Netflix earlier, considering the 5% on rt.com I wasn't expecting much.
Honestly, this was a movie done in by completely generic direction. The guy doesn't seem like he understands the concept of suspense. Showing cameras with no real connection doesn't equal suspense, it just ends up being a bit hammy.
The acting was decent, the script was fun enough, the pacing was fine. It was a decent way to kill 90 minutes during a rainy morning (as it is now). I'd give it a 2.5 out of 4.

The biggest problem I had with this film is that it had a great cast but is just meh in the story department and overall very forgettable. I didn't hate the movie but it wasn't anything special.

I think there have only been two instances in my life where I avoided a film simply because the trailer was such a shitty shit piece of shit. The other one was Vantage Point.
Seriously, watch that stupid crappy trailer again.
The first ten seconds might as well have been, "You robbed me of my manhood!" "That's petty theft!" "Don't go there!"
It also tells the audience that the (presumable) romantic leads are such disgusting whores they can't bother with a preamble as complicated as "Hi. My name is. . ."
But later on they get together! What a couple of loving skanks!
"I didn't want you when you were poor! Now you're rich! I love you!"
"You didn't want me when I was poor! Now I'm rich! I love you, too!"
He's spent years refining his technique at taking things apart! Look! He has a bunch of phones! Genius!
They'll reinvent him! Rich people have pools! He wasn't handsome before but now he has a suit! Don't forget the sports car cum shots!
But our hero is a pawn, trapped between TWO KINGS! Get it? Pawns and kings? Like a chess game? This must be a real psychological suspense thriller!
Gary Oldman's bad 'cause he has an accent! And Harrison Ford growls! Don't let the most respectable actor say any lines! He might talk like a person!
Fuck You, Liam Hemsworth! You started with bonus points by coming out of the same hole as Thor. I now deduct said points and a million more.

Indeed.
It's the worst "serious" trailer I've ever seen and from it I could deduce the film was going to be a complete and utter piece of shit. The acting and dialogue in the trailer are just cringe worthy and the plot points just woefully silly and predictable. Who actually pays money to watch crap like this?

Still trying to figure out how they roped Ford and Oldman to appear in this. I know either aren't above in appearing in crap movies but this is a whole new level of bad.
