I'd like to point out that Microsoft's keynote will occur at the same time as Apple's WWDC keynote. Sounds like a good time to disappoint everyone as most media outlets will be focused towards Apple.

you have the incorrect floor hours for the second day...not that it matters much. It opens at 10, not 12.

I'll probably only go on Wednesday. My gf has never been so this will be fun, but overall I get bored after a few hours and don't really enjoy standing in lines to play a game.

Me too, I've been to 5 or 6 E3's now and I'm kind of over the mobs of people and waiting in line. These days I just like to walk around and look at the booths, glance at the small art exhibits or history of game consoles, and check out other people playing.

re: Official E3 Thread of Microsoft's Self-Inflicted Misery (June 10-13, 2013)

I used to go to E3s all the time back in the late 90's. Even went one in Atlanta. I hated them, since I hated waiting in lines to play games and because it involved so much fucking walking.

The topper was the last year I went with the guy who owned the business I worked for. He won a trip into the Playboy Mansion in some drawing. He got to go and I got stuck in some hotel room. After that I was like "fuck this."

I think the source on that is Michael Pachter. Which, of course, you know...

Oh I know. It sounds legit to me though, they're saving a lot of money by going the prefab route instead of getting custom chips made.

According to the thread title, this seems like the theme song of E3... or at least the Next-Gen consoles.

Microsoft's E3 Slate Reportedly Leaked, Includes Fable IV, Halo 5

Microsoft could be looking to make a whole bunch of potentially huge announcements at E3 2013 next week if a leaked screengrab of the platform-holder's schedule for the show turns out to be kosher.

Spotted by a forumite on NeoGAF, the image is of unknown origin, so could well be fake. But given that some of the listed games are real and have been formerly announced, it could equally be the real deal.

In the image, you'll see Forza Motorsport 5 and Quantum Break, which have previously been announced for Xbox One. There's also Halo: Spartan Assault, which we happen to know is an actual thing. Come back tomorrow for answers on that one.

Banjo-Kazooie, Halo 5, Dead Rising 3 and Fable IV also feature in the image, indicating that if the picture is real, Microsoft could be gearing up for a barnstorming E3 presser. Here's the list of games according to the NeoGAF post:

Halo 5
Killer Instinct
Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty Land
Forza Motorsport 5
Quantum Break
Halo: Spartan Assault
Ryse
Fable IV
Crackdown 3
Fortnite
Dead Rising 3
Call of Duty: Ghosts
Battlefield 4
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Dying Light
Prey 2
Homefront 2
Beyond Good & Evil 2
Mirror's Edge 2
Rainbow 6: Patriots
Brother in Arms: Furious Four
League of Legends

Some nice titles, I hope its true so it satisfies those complaining about the lack of games at the initial announcement.

I can't imagine a scenario where that makes any sense for them, as I can't think of a single IP they own that anybody cares about anymore. Nintendo can still pull it off on the strength of their in-house games, but I don't think Sega could.

Especially when they just gave exclusivity on Sonic to Nintendo.
