Alright. If this was made here...it'd probably look stupider...but goddamnit. If this is what the mainstream average Korean movie boils down to...why the fuck not? Right?

Kind of dig the little theme they got going in there...

Air Bud was a theatrical release in the US. Just keep that in mind. This just looks like Congo meets baseball.

Kind of nice to see S. Korea making a few family friendly pics lately, their popular movies are almost oppressively violent.

Yeah. But the USA's mainstream shit hasn't been as hot as SK's shit. Maybe the Gorilla goes ape shit and kills someone? I dunno.

I was rather surprised to see something sooooo light compared to their regular fare.

That's all I could think while watching the trailer -- I wonder if the gorilla rips his trainer's head off and hits it into the stands with a baseball bat, goes on a rampage until he realizes what he's done wrong (animals with very human emotions!), and then gets mercilessly murdered in front of children.

I hated this movie the first time I saw it when it was called Ed.

Well thank god I can get this on Blu ray. Any word Mr. Baseball, aka Tom Selleck, being in this? Or Mr. 3000 aka Bernie Mac? This will greatly influence my purchase.

I was thinking they should go for a Mighty Joe Young feel, but this works too.

Add Danny Trejo and Jenna Jameson to this film and I'm in!

Edit - this looks 10x better than Achorman 2

Anyone remember Disney's movie about the field goal kicking mule?
