What movie star would you resurrect in their prime to star in contemporary films?

What deceased (or just plain old) movie star would you choose to revive to their "prime" acting years, in order to star in new films made by current day directors?

I would love to see John Cazale play Steve Buscemi's dad in something. It would be interesting to see young Paul Newman act in modern movies as well.

I could see Cary Grant in some stylish modern thriller/spy movies, with a dose of his humor.

Wouldn't mind seeing an in-his-prime Roy Scheider starring in movies again.

I'd say Peter Sellers and Wes Anderson would work together great.

Re: What movie star would you resurrect in their prime to star in contemporary films?

My top would be Peter O'Toole. As good as he was in the old days he would be in a class with Daniel Day Lewis in terms of current actors. Of course if we need him in something now we've got Michael Fassbinder.

I'd love to see Vivien Leigh take a shot at the rare but better than her time great female roles that occasionally come along.

I also think Richard Burton could thrive now. He seemed to have the worst agent in Hollywood but still captured a hatful of Academy Award nominations.

I agree with others that Peter Sellers would have had a field day now.
