Episode 14 of 20

Remember this was originally supposed to air last week, but was postponed because of the bombing news. My DVR did not pick up the schedule change in time, so tonight's episode was listed as a repeat. Double check your DVRs.

I'm really interested to see if the episode supports my theory that something may have been seen as insensitive or problematic with this show a week ago or if they really just thought they could cash in better on the time slot with a bit of tragedy rubbernecking than with Revolution.

So lesbians are to blame...

Kim Raver, Leslie Hope. It's Jack Bauer's pimp cave.

[edit]Just saw the preview for next week's ep.

Spoiler:
And now they're adding Annie Wersching. Who's left? Connie Britton?

You know, when she said she was looking for a friend out in the woods, I thought Rachel had said her friend's name was James. I was really hoping for it to be Josh Holloway, only to be disappointed by it being Ellis Grey.

This show could use Sawyer.

I have watched on Hulu when my DVR has let me down. Not bad, better than NBC's viewer.

I wonder how many people these things are keeping alive that would have no idea. I like the other locations better, people look to have mostly normal lives.

Re: Revolution -- "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia" -- 4/22/13

I liked this episode. Liked expanding the background of Miles. The usage of flashbacks in this episode with Miles and Alec was really effective. I think it was probably a good idea to pull this episode last week. I mean it was about a potential nuclear bomb going off in Georgia and airing this the night of the Boston incident would have been in bad taste.

Best line of the episode:

“Give this chubby gentleman some lunch.”

One observation, Jane said to Rachel that the nanites saved Danny's life. Did they ever say what he had?

I liked seeing Teri Bauer as the President. Have always thought Leslie Hope was an underrated actress.

at seeing Annie Wersching as a guest star next week. Jesus, she was on Touch, Dallas, and Body of Proof within the last 6 months.

While I do enjoy the show, I feel like it can only go one season.
I do wonder though if it can continue after the power is back on.
Is it really just about getting the power back ? Can the story continue with any sort of battles to control the power or maybe someone trying to turn it back off ?

I could see a season where they reunite the country.

That would be a way I could see at least a season two. The Monroe Republic seems to also rank lower on the power scale, Texas and Atlanta appear to be stronger and Atlanta is sure nicer.

I hope Myles realizes the other rebels in the Monroe Republic are fighting to bring back the USA not to replace one dictator with another one from Georgia.

Rachel should have tried to get a copy of that weapon that Jane had. She could easily stroll into the Tower untouched. Was it powered by a pendant?

What gives you the idea she was a dictator?

The idea I have another season of this shit to sit through is almost enough to make me drop it now.

Weird I had checked my DirecTV DVR to make sure the guide had adjusted to the episode being moved..Could have sworn that it showed it was set to record. I just noticed it didn't. Guess that shows my interest in this show.

I think the problem here is that the episode kept its original airdate in the program information when it got bumped back a week, so it looked like a repeat on the scheduler and didn't record. I had to hit record on the guide because it wasn't showing up in my list of programs scheduled to record.

Or... She could have made a few of those for the rebels so they could easily mow down Monroe and his militia.
