If I hadn't already made a commitment to myself to wait for the extended version(s), that would be an outstanding price for The Hobbit, particularly so soon after its release...

As far as The Dark Knight Rises is concerned, the armchair critics here have cut this movie into little pieces, so I think I'll pass for now. Maybe after it's made its rounds...

If it helps, I liked Begins and Rises better than Dark Knight. Rises is more of a sequel to Begins anyways.

I'm still fuzzy on what format the bonus disc is. While it reads BD in the number ID, the Wal-Mart exclusive bonus disc is a DVD, but is numbered BD... I'll pick up all three store excluives (Best Buy too) and sort them later online when the news gets posted.

I did discover something - Carly Foulkes. The T-Mobile spokes woman appears to have been let go. Which explains why their new TV ads don't include Foulkes and her pink dresses.

Anyhow, the bonus disc here comes in a CD envelope.

The Karate Kid movies (1-3 and 2010 remake) are $4.75 a piece.

Save the Date came out yesterday (with Lizzy Caplan & Alison Brie). Target has it for $9.99 whereas Amazon has it for $19.98, Wal-Mart for $21.23 and BB isn't carrying it.

I've been to three Target's since Tuesday and all of them had it on the New Release tower/structure but on the opposite side of where the "big" New Releases like Django were. So in those stores Save the Date was on the side closest to the catalog titles and the wall, rather than the one facing the aisle. Hope that helps.

some interesting new titles like S2 and S3 of McMillan & Wife (14.99 each) and New to dvd, Highway Patrol S4, for $14.99, Bob Newhart Show, S1 and S4(why do they do that?) and Remington Steele, S1, S2, and S4S5(S4/S5 had been MIA from the Fayetteville GA store for a month plus) they are $9.99
