Brenda remains worthless, simply won an immunity challenge catered to the smallest people who could fit more of their head through the grate.

Malcolm targeted Dawn (at least in the TV edit). She's not in the bottom of the alliance; she was in the core four. If Malcolm targeted the bottom of the alliance (Brenda/Erik) then we didn't see it. To date, we have been given little information about how Brenda is playing, and Erik is largely a dunce.

Given she was a ring leader who got flushed last time, Brenda must have some sort of strategy out there. Now clearly her "no confessionals since the premiere" mean that it doesn't work, but that doesn't mean there isn't a plan.

WOW. What the heck happened? The only think I can think:

Malcom, for what ever reason decided at the last minute to vote with the favorites, using the plan they told him - A split vote between Eddie and Reynolds. I am not if the favorites knew he was going to ask for the idol, but from their faces it seems like they didn't.

I am wondering where Malcom stands after this.

^^^^ I meant those in Phil/Andrea's alliance (Erik/Brenda/Sherri) are gutless for not making a move and just coasting their way to the final 6/7. People just get so paralyzed by fear of making a move that they'll never win.

I actually think Cochran has to be the heavy favorite at this point. Nobody is going to target him for a long time, they seem to have a very strong 6 that will take out Malcolm and Reynold easily, and Cochran just seems very well liked overall.

Targeted Dawn to get her to flip with the explanation that she was at the bottom of the alliance. Everything we've seen this year would indicate that is not the case. The bottom from what we've seen in Brenda/Erik/Sherry.

No, Malcolm was always going to cast that vote, right? The plan was that the favorites all split their vote between the two guys, but then the three male fans fans + the two women target Andrea. The votes drop 3 (eddie)-3 (reynold)-5 (Andrea), with Andrea going home. Then he's still painted as "with the favorites" while he's really with the fans.

So isn't there a rule about not talking to each once the voting has started? People can negotiate immunity idols AFTER the vote - seems like a load of crap.

Jeff should have stepped in and told Malcom if he has an idol he could play it, otherwise he should have shut him down.

I am sure if a woman had asked one of their allies to play an idol on them Jeff would have shut that down very quick.

Since HIIs are only played after the voting takes place, there's really no other way to negotiate trades and transfers. They can't really do that before the vote takes place.

Who's to say they are not thinking of making big moves down the line.

If they are subserveient to the Dawn,Cochran,Phillip,Andrea 4 some we are not seeing any confessionals of it like the people on the bottom of Boston Rob and Coach's tribe their season.

Well, to be fair, she does get a lot of camera time in challenges and group shots. They just don't ever talk to her.

The idea that CLEARLY she suffered some sort of considerable knee injury weeks ago, and it's never been addressed in any form is more than a little ridiculous.
