Airs this Sunday on HBO. Anyone going to check this out? I already have HBO, so might as well. But, haven't been really impressed with Pacino's work as an actor lately. Hopefully Mamet's script is good.

HBO has a Free Preview Weekend next weekend, so I will definitely be DVR'ing this.

Didn't realize Mamet wrote and directed this. I'll definitely be tuning in.

I figured there was interest in this.
A drama centered on the relationship between Phil Spector and defense attorney Linda Kenney Baden while the music business legend was on trial for the murder of Lana Clarkson.

So did anyone actually see it? Been on constant rotation on the HBO channels since Sunday. I really didn't care for it, as high caliber the cast was. Made me hate Spector all the more after seeing it.

it was OK but not accurate at all (yeah, I saw the disclaimer at the beginning). I'm not sure why Mamet took Spector's side, but it made for a more compelling flick, I guess. Pacino was good; Mirren was good.

I thought it was entertaining though Pacino did not hide his voice
If that evidence of the gun shot and splatter on the coat in the movie was true wouldn't he be innocent?

I thought it was excellent, but maybe a bit brief and thinly sketched. Played more like a long television episode rather than a feature film.
