Information from Annie Chu: Part 1 and Part 2.

Some good deal this week.

The data was late this week. A couple thoughts popped in my head. 1) Ms. Chu's well has run dry, no more access. 2) Next Tuesday won't take place, something happened to the timeline; could be robots or talking apes. Crap, talking ape robots!

Re: Target DVD prices (March 24th - 30th, 2013)

Wow, I can't even recall a Target ad having so many movies listed. I don't see any steals but there are some very reasonable prices. I'll be looking extra hard at the TV section next week.

Alot of times when Target advertises TV sets, there are some good unadvertised TV deals instore. Haven't bought much from Target this year aside form Peter Pan digibook and some clearance items.

I actually bought it from Best Buy because I had a reward voucher. Will they do the same if it drops there? Or can they pricematch and refund the difference?

Cool. They don't have a price yet posted for it. We'll see. Thanks for the info.

As long as you still have your recipt, just take it back to get a price adjustment done to it. They should honor it without any hassles and since you bought it at Best Buy, have them price match it with Target to get the difference.

Re: Target DVD prices (March 24th - 30th, 2013)

Lots of good TV on DVD. Might get Dexter season 6. Have already seen it on Showtime, but I own the previous 5 seasons, so might as well be a completist.

The only thing I hate about the Dexter sets is the special features. They are worthless DVDrom crap. It makes the sets have very little replay value if you have already seen the episodes week to week. I wish they included cast/producer commentaries, that would help.

Re: Target DVD prices (March 24th - 30th, 2013)

Mirror Mirror $7.00
Think Like A Man $7.00
Megamind $7.00
Country Strong $7.00
The Princess Bride 25th Anniversary Edition $7.00
4 Film Favorites: Nicholas Sparks Romances (Nights In Rodanthe/Message In A Bottle/A Walk To Remember/The Notebook) $7.00
Kung Fu Panda 2 $7.00
Puss In Boots $7.00
Dora's Easter Adventure $7.00
Alvin And The Chipmunks: Easter Collection $7.00
Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted $7.00
Barbie In The Pink Shoes $7.00
How To Train Your Dragon $7.00

My local Wal-Mart (Fall River, Mass.) recently put up a display featuring most of these titles mentioned for $8.88. After much internal debating, I finally fell off my wallet and picked up Puss, Dragon and Madagascar 3 only cause I had been wanting them for so long and hadn't seen a better sale. Thankfully, my superstitious mind told me to NOT open them figuring they would go on sale soon, and also just in case WM gives me a hard time about price matching. I know from past experiences, it all depends on the associate you get on how smoothly that process can go. You get some hard ass that finds some obscure technicality which leaves you frustrated and embarrassed at the service desk, and you wind up kicking yourself all the way to the door.

I didn't think I could take my receipt to Best Buy and with THIS weeks Target ad and have them price match it. They say now they will only price match at time of purchase. I guess I could return it then rebuy it, but I used a $5 voucher so would that be reinstated?

These are great prices. I got the Vampire Diaries and Walking Dead S2. My local Target was sold out of Vamp S1 and S2 but walmart price matched. Thanks for posting the info.

You're good to go so long as you didn't bust open the plastic on the DVD...get your receipt, take it back to Best Buy, tell them you changed your mind, you want a full refund for it and then go to Target and pick it up there.

I just had Best Buy price match Target's ad and they did so today and I used up a remaining gift card's funds to get it for under 9 bucks for my brother.

Don't think the voucher will be refunded back to you though as it works like a coupon and you'll lose out on it. it happened to me as well a few times over.

Only Kung Fu Panda 2 for me. But definitely the best Target lineup since the holiday season...

So I was at Target picking up Justified Season 3 and I figured I'll just pick up Skyfall there and return the other to BB. I went to BB today to make the return and they told me I could apply the reward zone voucher if I get something else today, instead of waiting "up to 30 days" for it to return to the account. So I picked up Argo for $5 bucks with it. But I did not know that fact, so I was pleasently surprised when I went.

Glad it all worked out for you Dex...i knew it would and even better on the voucher deal too. As long as you didn't open it, you were good to go.

Re: Target DVD prices (March 24th - 30th, 2013)

I was thinking about picking up Continuum this week, but it seems that Target's not carrying it.

I did pick up Borgias, which does come with an Exclusive disc.

A couple of other titles I saw that were not advertised were:

Gossip Girl Season 6 for $14.99
House of Lies Season 1 for $17.99 (when this came out it was $32.99 in stores, so this is by far the lowest price yet)

Re: Target DVD prices (March 24th - 30th, 2013)

Lots of great TV titles.

I went to Target the other day and picked up Gossip Girl season 6/Final Season (Finally done with the series). Dexter season 6 and then Justified season 3 on DVD.

Normally I would get Justified on BD, but at $14.99, I couldn't pass on it. Plus I checked out the extras and it looks like the only BD exclusive is some interview...A Conversation with Walton Goggins and Timothy Olyphant. I can live without it. I don't really need to own Justified in BD anyways. It's kind of a gritty show already.
