Deep Discount: TV on DVD sale

http://www.deepdiscount.com/index.cf...&viewType=list

Not everything is a great price but as an example, Matt Houston season 1 is the cheapest I can find it anywhere else. There's a few deals to be had but there are 42 pages of listings to go through so I haven't got through it all yet.

Just be careful. Many "larger" sets (seems to be 5 discs or higher but no real standard) have "additional shipping charges apply" on them. There are also quite a few that are less expensive elsewhere and look to be "normal" priced. DD just seems to get worse and worse as time goes on.

Sale ends 3/5/13.

I'm trying not to become the person who bad mouths a company over and over again...but I'm leaning towards it with this company. Had a horrible experience with them in Jan. and will ot shop there again...they messed up the order, they had horrible customer service and it took two weeks of bac and forth for them to honor their sale price...

If you do buy, make sure you get an email confirmation as it is a known bug that their orders don't go all the way through and if they don't, they won't honor the price.

DD is owned by the Super D Evil Empire. Be warned.

Re: Deep Discount: TV on DVD sale

I picked up a few titles from this sale. Compared prices with Amazon and found these were all cheaper in the sale. My account is showing that the order has shippe so we will see what comes in. Got tired of trying to catch WWW at Big Lots.

Mission Impossible Season 4
Wild Wild West Season 4
My Favorite Martian season 3
Return Of The Man From UNCLE
Dinotopia Complete Series
Honey West Complete Series
Beauty and The Beast Complete Series

Re: Deep Discount: TV on DVD sale

Three, four years ago my biggest sources for DVD bargains were DD and Blockbuster used (BB). BB is now basically not available and DD has become largely irrelevant. I've made one $25 order in the past 16 months. I get sick of digging through DD's interminable pages of offers looking for anything I want at a price I want to pay. I usually give up after a dozen or so pages; waste of time. I will say, though, that I've never been jerked around by them or had a significant issue with an order.

That's kinda my experience too. I've always defended DD, but this last change of adding shipping charges for sets has finally put me over the edge. It's hard to defend this company anymore.

I think up to about 4-5 years ago, DD was my primary source for DVDs. They had a lot of good B1G1 sales (like their semi-annual Anchor Bay sales). Then it was Big Lots and now with blu-ray it's primarily Best Buy. I have however placed a few orders with them over the past year, primarily at BF and then the Star Trek TOS set. They are not irrelevant yet, but their prices and CS are nothing to scream about.

Not a joke, just not convenient.
There are some bargains there, but you have to wade through crap to find them.
The biggest change for me was the shipping -now I no longer make smaller single orders but wait for a good price on 2 or more items to make it worth it.
