Today as I was killing time at Circuit City I was approached by a CSR. At first, I asked if the DVD player hooked to the WEGA 36XBR400, that I was looking at, was progressive or not (Panasonic 330?). He said it was. I then asked whether he had noticed any geometry problems on this set. I pointed out what was a pretty obvious bowing in the middle bottom portion of the screen with a more significant slant to the lower right. He said that he had not. But then, he was kind enough to suggest that any problem that I noticed might be from the way that the stand was sitting on the floor.

My question is this: Anyone else noticed any geometry problems on the WEGA 36XBR400?

Who knows, maybe they prop up the stand using giant industrial elecromagnets.
