So they took Karen's bit out of the opening credits? I guess that means she won't be back this season.

Don't they have Invisalign for kids? At least then they wouldn't have to make up a way they paid for Carl's braces which the actor must have needed.

Sorry, these comments really relate to last week's episode.

A lot of lol moments.

C'mon GI pound me like an Iraqi soldier. Man, Ian is a total man whore. Satisfying every gay sexual fantasy

nice shots of Emmy Rossum's boobs coming out of the shower. at Jimmy taking a dump while she was in the shower.

at Estefania's Dads goon listening to Maroon 5.

at Frank giving baby Jaime Valium to shut him up.

You have to give Fiona credit, she has some balls and takes a lot of risks. Cutting a check for over 4000 to those mob guys for the Booz when she barely has any money is dicey.

He said it was Valium, but it was in powdered form....maybe it was some of the coke he transported for the Mexicans? Anyways, still a funny scene.

Yay, Deb wised up. Let's hope it stays that way.

And yeah Frank, what you did at the end was bad even for you.

Appreciate the lingering shot of Estefania on that treadmill. Loved Lip's scam-of-the-week as well. Spreading the word about a fake Wilco concert.

Yeah the parking scam was a great way to make a quick buck. Good thinking by Lip.

Once again, Frank is a selfish piece of shit. Calling social services is a new low.

Remind me again, why is Jaime wearing a helmet?

I wonder if Fiona would of done better if she just stuck to the original deal at the club with her only taking 15%. She would of made $1500 and not have to deal with paying everyone and the booze. I guess the lawyer guy too wouldn't of asked for the $1000.

Maybe, but that's how way too many inexperienced people are. All they see is the rainbow of incoming money, not the responsibility and expenses.

If she brought in ten grand, then she would have made a net of $1500 (providing she didn't have to pay out to the staff, or the bribe the pol) and would have netted $500 in profit.

If they had 200 people there, then that means each person only spent $50. Seems a little low, especially when she spent $5000 on booze. I'm guessing that the clientele at that party was at least reasonably moneyed, so it seems like she should have brought in more per head. It's easy to drop more than $50 a night at a ratty little dive; I would wager that this could would be throwing around more money just to show off.

Back in the day they'd give babies paregoric, an opium derivative. It worked well but the nanny state thought it bad to get kids hooked on opium so early in life so it was pulled.

I don't think coke would have put the baby to sleep.

I like the difference in philosophy between Lip and Fiona. You know at the end they'll always help each other out but I think it's a good dynamic with Fiona trying to rise above the hood while Lip is embracing what they are (or at least what he thinks they are). It's especially great that Fiona is just a 22 year old kid with a GED while Lip is the genius that can easily go on to do better things.

'Lip's storyline of "I'm not going to try to succeed and you can't make me!" is growing tired...

No idea. Hell, I figured it was the 19th "bundle" of coke that Frank smuggled. Figured he at least had that on him. Could of just been the valium he claimed.

Frank's a piece of shit, either way.

Agreed.

And having his character think that the only way poor people can survive is to steal or scam is pretty lame. Having the smarts he has is a golden ticket and there's no way a genius like him would be stupid enough to think otherwise.

Alot of smart people make bad decisions, many of the smartest hate school. Didn't Steve Jobs drop out of college early?

My take on Frank and the Valium was that he chewed it up and put tiny pieces in the baby's mouth.
