I wish they had clarified exactly what deal Michael had made. He agreed to join the agency in order to wipe the slate clean for his family/friends? And he can't see them anymore? Damn this vague ending.

Yup. Lame. As was the grenade scene, so fucking obvious something like that was going to happen.

I was hoping he'd take over Riley's job and his team would help him track rogue spies. But I agree. The ending was too vague and I knew Bly was gonna get it.

The way it ended, you'd swear Michael took Card's job. Weird ending.
Sucks about Blye. Worse still was how horribly telegraphed it was before the "security guard" called it in.

If there were an extra scene or two after Fiona chastises Michael, yeah. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the ending we got was cut down from a longer sequence that was envisioned as a series finale should the show not have been picked up for another season.

Fan-fucking-tastic. A shame it's taken so long to pump some new juice into this show, but damn this has probably been my favorite season.
Also kudos to the sub-plot of shooting Sam. Rarely can a show convince the viewer that a main character won't make it when they've been invincible year after year, but they succeeded with Sam. With the show nearing the end of its run, I was convinced I missed a news tidbit about Campbell leaving the show. So to the writers. They had me fooled for the first time in the show's run.
On to the ending. Interesting but definitely vague. I definitely thought Michael was in basically Card's position, but Fi's breakdown leaves it open for interpretation and/or for the writers to come up with something later.
So for the first time in at least a few years, I'm anxiously anticipating the new season.

I couldn't agree more.
You think this will severely change the show? Michael is no longer burned NOR is he restricted to living only in Miami... I don't know how the show could possibly remain the same next season with these two details changed.

Michael's come in from the cold a couple of times and each time they find a way to reburn him/put him on the run again. We'll see what the summer season brings, but we're really one plot twist away from Michael/Fi/Sam/Jesse being stuck in Miami and helping the client of the week while trying to uncover the diabolical villain behind the plot twist.

"I had this vague memory that Fi gave me mouth-to-mouth, did that happen?"
"Yeah"
"You get pictures?"
Someone in one of the earlier threads mentioned that maybe the mom is in on it. You know for a civilian she does seem to be able to do a lot of things that they ask her to (evading tails, talking her way past people).

Worst season yet. Get back to helping ordinary people. I don't give a shit about Michael's spy missions or desire to be in the CIA. I'm about ready to dump the show.

I don't remember it that way - their cases of the week usually involved saving their own asses in some way, rather than helping someone.
I'm with Wally - worst season yet.

I think they would've probably said it was the final season if it was. They may just be cutting back. I'd like it if Michael did his own thing with CIA and the rest of the gang did the helping people thing. While helping each other from time to time.

It is confirmed to be the end.

Has it been good? I stopped watching maybe the 3rd or 4th season. Got too repetitive for me.

Hope it goes out with a bang since they know this is it.
I've loved the serialized direction of the past few seasons. Season 6 was my favorite since 1-2.

So they got rid of the poor schlub and mommies hiring them for jobs every week style of episodes?
I think I stopped watching when they added that new guy. I liked the show for the most part. But I just got tired of the new job every week stuff.

There were some random episodes thrown in to each season which didn't follow serialized arc. Jessie was a great addition to the show.
