Funniest one in a while. The gag about Ted's things being borrowed was good, but the labels made it a little hokey. Would've been funnier if all the borrowed items were mentioned, and then the audience was allowed to spot them ourselves.
I loved how Robin would always end up screaming at poor Patrice.

Yeah, one of the best in a long time, that's not saying a lot of course.
But it reminded me of when this show was awesome, it reminded me of the episode when Marshall's dad dies. Sigh.

This episode somewhat annoyed me. I thought Patrice was coming over to help Barney decorate the tree. He returned while Robin was looking for the playbook with a tree. When Ted arrives with the "Hefner" bail tactic, there is a FULLY DECKED OUT tree in the apartment right next to the door as Barney drops the juggling Christmas balls he "borrowed" from Ted. Sloppy.

I laugh like hell at this for some reason too. But it's ultimately a sign of weakness...it doesn't matter what she's actually saying, it's how she says it. A cheap trick for humor from what used to be a great writing team.
This show never relied on cheap tricks. Except for "The Cheap Trick"...

Barney showing in any kind of interest in Patrice, makes no sense whatsoever. With that being said everything else about tonight's show was really good.

Agreed. It's one thing for him to want to settle down and go for a nice girl, it's another altogether for him to go after one who is miles outside his established 'standards'.

I knew that Mickey and Judy would hook up after the opening gag with the closets and then the discussion about Marshall's mother staying in their apartment.
Best episode in a while.

loved the Bro Code making an appearance
and Barney's box of Christmas ornaments having the property of Ted Mosbey sticker on it. Other stuff had the sticker too but the ornament box was the funniest one
